What to check when a scrolling filter does not seem to work

Reviewed:

First check where you are browsing and which restriction should apply there. A browser setting inside unScroll does not automatically affect the original Instagram or YouTube app. Then record the selected setting, app versions and exact transition. A missed native curtain can be a real defect, not proof that you configured it incorrectly.

Separate the symptom from the cause

“I can still scroll” may mean the wrong route was opened, a setting was left off, a needed section remains available or recognition failed. Record what is visible before deciding which explanation applies.

Likewise, a missing useful section does not establish that every filter is broken. Note which action became unavailable and what setting you expected to preserve it.

Create a small report

  1. Write the device, Android version, unScroll version and affected social-app version where relevant.
  2. State whether the session is inside unScroll or the original app.
  3. List the intended restriction and the visible relevant settings.
  4. Describe the shortest sequence that reaches the symptom, including what happens after leaving and returning.
  5. Send the report through support without passwords, private messages or personal account content.

Preserve known limitations

The current release has a confirmed intermittent Instagram Home curtain failure on the owner’s Vivo phone. A connected service alone does not prove the curtain is present. Its observed return after tapping Home is not a universal fix.

Do not remove the existing app or assume an update fixes the problem without evidence. Browser filters and native protection need separate checks. If an essential task is affected, use a working route and report the specific failure.
